Introduction

Welcome to the Shasta Association of REALTORS, a professional trade association that is governed by the National Association and California Association of REALTORS®.

When joining the Shasta Association of REALTORS® you'll be required to attend a membership orientation program. The orientation will help you attune to the policies of the Local, State and National Associations. We will focus on the Ethics that are closely monitored and mandated by the National Association of REALTORS®.

The Multiple Listing System of the Association is referred to as FLEXMLS. The FLEXMLS system was developed by FBS Data Systems located in Fargo North Dakota.

The Shasta Association has available Continuing Education, Salesperson and Broker Courses available for accredited study. Please use the "education" tab for more detailed inforation on educational offerings.

The Shasta Association includes member benefits from the California Association of REALTORS like ZipForm, RELAY, and ePUBs. The benefit of tax records have been integrated from Parcel Quest to the FLEXMLS system.

The Association of REALTORS® is run by the Board of Directors consisting of a President, President Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and eight other REALTOR Directors.

The Association of REALTORS® has 15 standing committees. The Committee Chairperson and members are appointed by the President and approved the the Board of Directors. Each committee can make recommendations to the Directors during the business year.

Finally, in order to maintain our Property Rights it is important that each REALTOR® pay their share of the "True Cost" of doing business. The REALTOR® ACTION FUND, a voluntary contribution does that and more. Please read about the REALTOR ACTION FUND and what this donation does for you as a real estate professional.
