REALTOR® Membership


Thank you for your interest in becoming a REALTOR® member of the Shasta Association of REALTORS®.  The REALTOR® trademark is one of the strongest and most recognized brands in the world.  As a member of the Shasta Association of REALTORS® (“Association”), the California Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, you have access to a wide array of benefits, business tools, real estate market data, educational opportunities, and discount programs designed to help you succeed in today's market.

Let's get started . . .

A real estate Broker may join the Association as a "Designated REALTOR®", having the status of sole proprietor, partner, officer,  and/or branch manager acting on behalf of the principal.  The Designated REALTOR® is the primary person responsible for all membership duties and obligations within the brokerage/office. 

A licensed agent under a Designated REALTOR® may join as a REALTOR® Associate, having all the same benefits of membership that is offered to all REALTOR® members for the local, state, and national organizations.

Steps for joining . . .

  1. Print Membership Application;

  2. Complete ALL detailed information of the application, sign, and obtain signature of Designated REALTOR®;

  3. Obtain a copy of California Department of Real Estate (“CalDRE”) License at www.dre.ca.gov;

  4. Obtain a Letter of Good Standing, including confirmation of completed member orientation (applicable to secondary members only); and

  5. Return the fully executed Membership Application along with a copy of the CalDRE License, your driver’s license, and Letter of Good Standing (if applicable) to the Association office via email at team.shastamls@gmail.com or U.S. Mail or hand delivery at 840 Remor Street, Redding, CA 96002.

Upon our receipt of the completed application, we will contact you to schedule an appointment to process your application for membership, as well as confirm the amount of fees and dues payable at the time of your appointment. Additionally, during that appointment, we will provide you with a membership benefit package, including Association Bylaws, Multiple Listing Service Rules and Regulations, and access to the FlexMLS and SentriLock systems.
