Shasta Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors' Election 2026

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Shasta Association of REALTORS®, the Nominating Task Force for 2026 presents the following information concerning the Board of Directors’ Election:

 I.  Background:

The governing body of the A.O.R. shall be a Board of Directors consisting of the elected officers and eight other Directors.  The Past President shall automatically be a Director for a one-year term. 

The Elected Officers shall serve for a one-year term, excepting the Secretary/Treasurer who shall serve a two-year term, and upon election, the Directors shall serve as follows:

a) Members with the two highest number of votes shall serve a three-year term;

b) Members with the next two highest number of votes shall serve a two-year term;

c) All other elected members shall serve a one-year term..

There shall be no more than two elected Officers and Directors from the same real estate brokerage/office.

The positions available for the 2025 Board of Directors' Election are as follows:

a.  President Elect;

b. Treasurer, and

c.  Three Directors.

II.  Termed Out Directors:

III.  Officer and Director Nominations:

Office of Treasurer:

Office of Director:

 IV.  Election 2026:

Nominations from the floor will be held at the next General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

  • Election Period: 

    • Commences Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

    • Closes Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.

  • Voting will be by electronic balloting via ElectionBuddy.com.

  • Members are encouraged to confirm email address AND/OR cell phone number with Association office as soon as possible to assure participation in the election if their information has changed recently.

  • Election results will be released on Friday, September 11, 2026.
